OUR CHILDREN

ARCHANA
2 year old ARCHANA is the youngest in a family of four children. She came to us with a condition that resulted in her neck being twisted to one side and unable to lift her head. Sustained nutritional care and medical attention has completely healed her from this affliction.

3 year old CHINNU is smart, intelligent boy with a pleasing personality and a father who is very old and unable to provide for his family and a mother who works at nearby households and also sells milk in the neighborhood.

THANGAMA

4 year old THANGAMA belonging to a family of construction workers, could not speak or express herself when she came to us. She is now in her 2nd year with us and sings and dances and is one of our brightest students.

3 year old NETRA had acquired the habit of eating “mud” due to extreme lack of parental attention and care. Her parents seem to have no choice but to leave her alone all day while they are at work.
  NETRA

RATNA

5 year old RATNA was found in a drain. Her father had died and her mother who had gone to the city had never returned. She lived alone in and near the drain and survived by begging for her food.

3 year old HARISH now lives with relatives after his father disappeared while he was an infant and after his mother passed away last year.
